Man-Made Stuff Now Outweighs All Living Things on Earth

It's finally happened. Humans have created enough "stuff" that it now outweighs all things in the natural world.  Man uses nature to create new things, and he's made enough to tip the scales of balance.  Livescience.com delves into this subject in an interesting article discussing this topic.  What do you think?  Is man to the point where he is once again going to be judged by God with the words found at Genesis 11:6?
