It's Cute! It's Deadly!
The Slow Loris is cute and cuddlely. But beware! Its bite can rot flesh! Used primarily to fight other Loris males, the flesh-rotting bite of the Slow Loris is nothing to laugh at. By licking glands under their armpits that ooze noxious oil, they mix this with their saliva which creates a deadly venom that fills the grooves in their canines so that when they bite the solution can eat to the bone. Intrigued? Check out more about this adorably deadly mammal.
